And they are off!

Today was the official first day of school.  My oldest started high school and my youngest started middle school with my middle child finishing up her final year of middle school.  Wow they grow so fast.  It is really hard to believe how time has flown by these last couple of years.

Anyway, before I get too emotional, I will move onto today's post.  I wanted to make some cute little notes to throw into the kids lunch boxes so that they knew I was thinking about them.  The first day of school can be a little tough, so I wanted to them to be reminded that they are always in my thoughts.  I found some of the cutest sayings in the Barnyard Babies set, and it made me realize that they really aren't for babies (which is why I originally got this set).  So they made the perfect lunch box cards.

Here are 4 of the cards I made which really come together quickly with some DSP Scraps and these really adorable animal puns.

Join me on Wednesday for a Christmas Card using the Reason for the Season stamp set that will be release TOMORROW in the new holiday catalog.

See you soon.

A2 Card Gift Box

Hello my crafting friends!  A quick post today as I am running out to see a movie with my kiddo's.  I posted this video last night showing you how to make these A2 Card boxes.  I mentioned in the video and show a diagram that shows you the score lines and cut lines.  If you are interested in the PDF of this diagram, let me know and I would be happy to send you a copy.

The details for this box are as follows:

Paper size:  8" x 11"
Make the following score marks along the 11" side:  3/4, 5-1/4, 6, & 10-12/
Make the following score marks along the 8" side: 1/2, 1-1/4, & 7-1/4

You will then cut and score as shown in the video and diagram.
Any questions, let me know!

I will be back soon!
