August Stamp Club of the Month and Card Kits to Go

Hi Stampers!  I am back with another quick post.  I realized that we are at the end of the month and I haven't posted the Featured Stamp Set.  For August we will be using the Tin of Cards stamp set.

This set was designed to go with the Tin of Cards Project Kit, but it has quickly become one of my FAVORITE stamp sets.  I will have some samples to show you when I return from vacation, so please bear with me as I wanted to make sure all my current members had a chance to switch out the set if necessary.  For August we are going to focus on Masculine cards, but as you can see it is a very versatile set (and I have made several cards/videos with it already).  For anyone interested in joining club this month, you can find the details for what is included in the tabs above, or if you have questions, please feel free to send me an email or leave a comment.

Thanks,

Cindy

Everyday Greetings Class - Watercolor Edition

Hi all!  Just checking in quickly to make a couple of posts while on vacation.  The first is to showcase my next Everyday Greetings Class (3 cards and 1 3D item - this one is a card gift box).  Next month (August 8th) we will be focusing on BASIC watercolor techniques using the Remarkable You Stamp Set.  I also promised the ladies that with the August Class we would start introducing 1 holiday card, so for this class we will be using the White Christmas set (which also features a watercolor background).  If you are interested in attending this class, please be sure to RSVP by Wednesday, August 5th.

Thanks,

Cindy

Everyday Greetings Class

A big thank you to those who made it out to the Everyday Greetings class this weekend.  We had a lot of fun, and I was so happy to meet a couple of you for the first time.  These were the projects we made, and thankfully everyone successfully put the Baker's Box together (it is a little tougher then you would think).  The stamp sets we used for these projects are:  Tin of Cards, Bountiful Borders, Garden in Bloom & Sprinkles of Life along with some Pretty Petals and Cherry on Top DSP.

I wish I would have snapped a few pictures of the group creating as we had MANY laughs, that will keeping me smiling for quite some time.  What a great group of ladies and I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

If you are interested in receiving any of the project kits for the projects shown, they will be available for purchase while supplies last.  Each kit will include all of the pre-cut cardstock, embellishments and envelopes for 2 cards plus you will receive an instruction sheet for putting the cards together.  The cost for 1 Kit is $5.00 (includes shipping).  This is also available to customers outside the US for $6.00.  Please send me an email with the card kits you would like to purchase.

Have great day everyone!

Watercolor Wings One Layer Card

WOW!  This stampset is AWESOME!  I was really on the fence about getting this set an then I started seeing everyone posting their color combinations.  So I ordered it, and it sat in the box just staring at me every time I passed it.  I LOVE butterflies and dragonflies, so I am usually all over any paper, stamps etc that have these.  I am not quite sure why I was so hesitant to play with this set, maybe the thought of all the layers just left little to be desired or seemed like too much work.

Let me tell you....I LOVE THIS SET!  I know, I know, I seem to be saying that a lot lately, but really, this set is beautiful.  Yes there are a lot of layers, but you don't have to use all of them, plus, with the framelits you have so many design options.  I made this one layer card because I wanted to really show off the butterflies and all their dimension.  I definitely could have stepped it up a bit with some sequins or ribbon as some of my YouTube subscribers suggested, but I really like the simplicity of the card.

Here is a not so quick video on how I created this card ;o)

Thanks or swinging by!

Cindy
